Tyler and Emily began swim lessons on Saturday. What a difference from two years ago. I love how they grow and develop and mature and while there are new challenges, some things get easier!! It was such a joy to have them both cheerfully join their assigned classes and fully particpate, with smiles, no less. No tears or complaining or clinging of previous experiences. And, thanks to the wonder of goggles and the wisdom of this swim teacher to give them out to everyone, both kids dunked under water without complaint. Granted, both said that was the worst part of the lessons, but let it be noted that Tyler the next day changed his plea and asserted that diving for the rings was his favorite part of swimming. Who knew? I'm just happy to see them enjoying themselves in activities and being able to sit on the sidelines and soak it in (camera in hand, of course!)
