Driving down a rough, pot-holed dirt road the other evening, a deep hole I couldn't see until we were right on it jumped out at me and I quickly tried to swerve around it. The ever-hearing children in the back seat picked up the verbal expression of surprise I uttered.
"Is that why people say, "oh crack", because there's a crack in the road?" Tyler asked.
"What's "oh crack", I asked to be sure I heard his version correctly.
"Oh, that's what people say when something goes wrong."
