Tyler thoughts on Mom and Dad

Tyler, after hugging Jim, then hugging me:
"It feels different to hug a mom and a dad. Dad feels more firm [insert hand demonstration expressing what he can't find just the right words to say]. Mom, you feel more softer - like how you can push your hands on the carpet and it pushes down."

Tyler:
"Wouldn't it be silly if kids could shop for their moms and dads? They could go to a store and look at pictures and choose which ones they wanted. "
After a pause. . .
"Do you know who I would choose if I could pick my mom and dad? . . . . You and dad."
