Recent Emily

Emily and I have been greatly enjoying our new schedule with lots of Emily-Mommy time. With Tyler at school all day now, we have three and a half days with just the two of us. She is great company - so very enjoyable and pleasant to have around. Since the weather has been so warm still, we get in a bike ride at least one a day - sometimes with a purpose (to the store or the library for story time) and sometimes just to get out. We both love the "one-wheeler" as she calls the trail-a-bike. I had been considering putting her in preschool two mornings a week thinking I would need to be working at the office more, but I'm glad I decided against it and my work is going fine without the extra time in. She seems to be doing better in general with having more focused time with me and I feel much better about it. Even so the time goes quickly! I'm trying to purposely give her more responsibilities and she is responding well.
