The tooth, the dove & Columbus

T is not having much success so far from the tooth-fairy income standpoint. His bottom two teeth - one was lost when it fell out and the other swallowed. One of his permanent top teeth is coming in (above) but the baby tooth hasn't fallen out - it is just being pushed forward more and more so he looks quite "hick" like - he can almost make it stick straight forward, but it isn't loose enough to pull and he has been working at it. I keep hoping it will fall out on its own and that he will have it to put under his pillow. It may take a visit to the dentist, though. We shall see.

To see the picture bigger, click on it. The above is some of T's schoolwork. I had him explain it to me and I will pass on that explanation from the artist. As you can see, it is about Columbus and his three ships. Well, additionally you should know that there was a wind and the back two ships bumped together (see the bump, bump and how they are tipping?) The "yea yea" is the people on the boat excited because they see land. And the bird with the greenery? That is a dove bringing a branch to the boat to show them they are close to land. Wasn't that in your history book?

Oh, the "hick" look is more of one with missing teeth and the remaining teeth are ... well, not pearly looking and all over the place. That's at least what we've got going on out here at the shop.
