Speaking of age. . .

The birthday/age thing reminded me that Tyler asked me recently when people start getting old.
It depends on your perspective, I answered. We are all growing older each day.
He responded that he meant when do people start looking old.
I responded it is gradual and happens over time, then curious, asked what he thinks makes someone look "old". He had a difficult time quantifying that, so we got more specific and I asked who he considered old. I won't ever reveal who he answered to that, but I will comment that I observed some interesting and inexplicable discrepancies in his answers. In any case, I was slightly surprised and personally relieved to find out I wasn't in his "looking old" category (yet!)
