Yesterday was spent cleaning through toys, which had gotten incredibly out of hand. I had taken and *filled* containers with toys that were not put away. . . then got out all the toy tubs and together, the three of us sorted and put away. I also had a very large trash bag which I contributed to frequently. The whole place feels so much lighter now. (Of course, I also rearranged the furniture in the family room, which is a must every few months.)
As a reward for their work yesterday, or perhaps better put, something to look forward to after completing that task, the kids and I took the bus to the mall today. Simple pleasures and inexpensive. . .except for the new shoes for them and lunch at the food court.
