A Born Performer?

Emily love to hum and sing and has begun to do it in pretend "performances", as well as in the mirror, on her own, whenever. I think it is another way to get more words said in the day in a fun way. Today at the park she had me sit in the "audience" while she went "on stage", picked up a pretend microphone and led a performance that lasted 15 minutes or so. She had a very mature presentation, imitating, I was gathering, the VBS leader she had just witnessed this week. (At a local church - not our own - they went to VBS this week. The leader was on stage at the beginning and end of the morning sessions, holding a wireless microphone.)

Shyree and Kaitlyn related a story to me last night about when they were in a dressing room at Macy's in CA and they turned around to observe Emily standing in front of the mirror, admiring herself, singing about what a lovely princess she was and how beautiful as she pretended to reach down and pick up a baby, sway back and forth and generally be dramatic self.
